Killarney to Dingle, Days 41-43

We have now arrived in Dingle Peninsula and completed over 1,400 kms getting here. We left Killarney two days ago and rode a short 26 km to Boolteenns-Castlemaine where we stayed at the Anvil Bar & Grill with wonderful and lovely Liz.

Since we had arrived early we spent the first couple of hours drinking Guinness, tea and talking to the owner Liz about the history of the place. That night the rains returned and we woke up to a misty, damp and cold morning and me with a sore throat.

The rest of the morning stayed damp, cold, and windy. After a few kms we were by the side of the bay with beautiful views. We climbed up to 270 ft and back down at  Inch Beach where we had lunch.  Then up again climbing to 370 ft. The views were fantastic.

A long down hill brought us to just outside of Dingle, then back up with another climb and down to our guesthouse.

On the way to Castlemaine-Boolteens.

Anvil Bar, our stop for the night.

Saying goodbye to Liz.
