Saint Hubert, Bastogne, Esch-sur-Sure - Day 21-24

From Saint Hubert we rode on unpaved forest logging roads, unpaved and Rocky  bicycle trails, on roads, mostly in the country with a lot of hills up and down to Bastogne.

It was payback morning as for the first half of the day past border of Luxembourg we were on paved bicycle paths and had 15 kms of down hill!  However right after, the hill began with a vengeance and very steep!  But once on top it was down hill through forest and  country farms. Then up the next hill then very steep drop into Esch.

Ottignies, Namur, Ciney, and Saint Hubert - Days 17 - 20

From Ottignies we had three days of hilly and challenging rides through small towns, forests, on roads, bicycle trails and country roads. Our last day to Saint Huber will be probably the hardest for this trip a 48 km ride with a three km ride in a forest cobble and loose gravel with very steep hills.  At times impossible to ride on, with over 2,200 Feet of E.G.

Our place in Ottignies.

Arriving in Namur.
