We have been riding every day for the past 6 days and will continue tomorrow also before we get a break. The riding for the first day to Fougeriolles included 7 hills with some steep climbs. The rest has been gentle along the river Saone.

Nancy is known as city of art, also the golden gates city. We rode on bicycle trails thru forests, fields, along the river Moselle and its canal.
After two nights in Nancy we went to leave at 10:30 a.m. but it started raining so we got our rain gear out and then left and had gone about one km when the rain turned into tremendously ferocious storm with winds so strong was tearing roofs and throwing everything around. We had to huddle by a building trying to avoid getting hit by debris. Then we got motioned from inside the building to come in and take shelter. It turned out to be a Mercure Hotel and they let us sit for two hours until the storm settled down. After that we left and finished the ride to Vincey.
After one night in Vincey we continued on the Moselle River trail to Epinal for anther nights stay. But soon the storm returned and kept us in our room.
The final day's ride was foggy and cold and stayed that way for most of the way. Started on roller coaster hills for the first 16 mile...
